School admission procedures in Kerala to commence from May 18

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday announced that school admission procedures in Kerala for the academic year 2020-21 will begin from May 18.

Students along with parents can directly arrive at schools under the general education department practicing all COVID protocol and take admissions. Also admissions can be taken online for which KITE will soon roll out a portal.

200 exam training centres will be prepared for students belonging to SC/ST community, those staying in hill ranges and coastal areas and are appearing for Class 10, 11 and 12 board exams.

Study materials, model question papers and exam guides will be distributed, the CM added.
