Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or RBSE would be conducting the pending class 10, 12 board examinations. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given permission to the board to conduct the remaining papers for classes 10 and 12. Date sheet for the remaining exams would be released in due course of time on the official website rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
Students may please note that the a few papers of RBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2020 were postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak. Matric or class 10 papers were scheduled to be conducted from March 12 to March 24. Also, papers of Class 12 were scheduled from March 5 to April 3. The notice to postpone the exams was issued on March 20, deferring all the papers scheduled from March 20 to April 3.
The time table for the deferred papers would be released by the board. In the meeting, CM Gehlot emphasize on the necessary precautions that must be taken by the authorities to conduct the remaining examinations.
In the meeting, CM said that all the guidelines as issues by the government including mandatory masks and proper social distancing. The CM has also asked to consider increasing the number of examination centres to ensure adequate social distancing between students.
Rajasthan Board or BSER conducts public examinations for classes 5, 8, 10 and 12. This year, about 20 lakh students are registered for RBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2020. Exams were scheduled for March 2020 and results were expected to be released in June or late May. This year, however, the board exams were deferred.
Rajasthan Government, due to the special circumstanced presented by the pandemic, had announced its decision to promote all students of Classes 1 to 8, 9 and 11 without examinations this year. The evaluation work for the papers of classes 10 and 12, which had been conducted before the lockdown, was already started. The remaining papers would be conducted in June. Results may take another month after the exams are completed.
