The 1st Lieutenant Governor of newly formed Union Territory of Ladakh, Shri Radha Krishna Mathur, launched the official website (http://ladakh.nic.in) of the Union Territory of Ladakh, on 31st October 2019. The website is designed, developed and hosted by National Informatics Centre on S3waaS framework.

Hon’ble CEC, LAHDC, Leh, Shri Gyal P. Wangyal, Hon’ble CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Shri Feroz Ahmad Khan, Hon’ble Dy. Chairman LAHDC, Leh and Senior officers from Administration, Judiciary, Army and Para-military forces were present at the occasion.

The website was launched under the guidance of Smt. Padmavathi Viswanathan, DDG & State Coordinator for NIC J&K, Shri. Abhay Kumar, SIO, NIC J&K, with technical support from officers of NIC Leh and Kargil and S3waaS team headed by Smt. Alka Mishra, DDG, NIC HQ, Delhi.
