IDFC FIRST Bank is offering scholarships to students enrolled into first year of two year full-time MBA programmes in academic session 2019-21. The need-based scholarship programme is aimed at helping students to cover tuition fees of their MBA programme. The scholarship applications are allowed from selected 150 B-Schools across India.
The scholarship is being provided by IDFC FIRST Bank which is an Indian banking company that forms part of IDFC, an integrated infrastructure finance company. This scholarship programme forms part of its CSR initiative for the year of 2019-20.
IDFC FIRST Bank was founded by the merger of IDFC Bank and Capital First in December 2018. The Bank provides a range of financial solutions to individuals, small businesses and corporates. The Bank offers savings and current accounts, NRI accounts, salary accounts, demat accounts, fixed and recurring deposits, home and personal loans, two wheeler loans, consumer durable loans, small business loans, forex products, payment solutions and wealth management services. IDFC FIRST Bank has a nationwide presence and operates in the Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking and other banking segments.
IDFC FIRST Bank Scholarship applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
The selected MBA students will be awarded with scholarship sum of INR 2,00,000 (INR 1.00 Lakh/year) over the duration of their MBA programme
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:

Step 3: Once signed in, click on 'Start Application' to start filling the form.
Step 4: Fill in all the details and upload the required documents.
Step 5: Finally, click on 'Submit'.

The scholarship will be awarded based on the financial needs of the applicants. The scholars will be selected based on first-level shortlisting of candidates followed by telephonic/personal interview.

Q. I have enrolled into a 2-year PGDM programme this year. Am I eligible for this scholarship? How do I know whether my college is among the listed institutions from where the applications are allowed for this scholarship programme?
A: Yes. Students enrolled into 2-year full-time MBA or equivalent programmes, including PGDM programmes, are eligible to apply for this scholarship provided they belong to any B-school listed in this document.
Q. Can MBA applicants of 2018-20 batch apply for this scholarship?
A. No. Only graduate students who are enrolled into 1st year of their MBA/PGDM programme in the academic year 2019-20 are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Q. I want to pursue MBA through distance education, am I eligible for this scholarship?
A. No, the scholarship is only available for students who are already enrolled in 1st year of their 2-year full-time MBA programme
Note: Applicants pursuing executive MBA are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Q. Is there any application fee for this scholarship programme?
A. There is no application fee towards applying to this scholarship.
Q: Where do I apply for this scholarship?
A: The scholarship application is only hosted on Buddy4Study. The scholarship application link is officially available on IDFC FIRST Bank website as well.
Q. What will be the process of the interview?
A. After applying through the online application form, a telephonic interview will be conducted with all shortlisted applicants. This will be followed by a face- to-face interview towards the final selection of scholars.
Q. When will results be declared for this scholarship?
A. The results of this scholarship will tentatively be declared in September, 2019
