POSITIONS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEM ENGINEERS IN JAPAN
Iwatec Corporation with its head office in Japan and engineering centre in Kolkata needs qualified, young engineers for sustainable energy business in Japan and overseas.
Projects include biomass energy, hydrogen, stationary fuel cells, geothermal, solar PV and small hydro power units using latest technologies.
Essential: Engineers with 4 years' graduation degree from leading universities and institutes, having keen interest in working with sustainable energy systems. Good analytical ability and aptitude for innovation and creating holistic solutions* Must interface well with members of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team and international collaborators. Good knowledge of thermodynamics is expected.
Desirable: 3 years' industry or research experience in energy systems studies and engineering with exposure to latest trends in technology*
Years of age: In the 20s or early 30s*
Assignments and responsibilities: Explore, study, basic/detailed design
and engineering and implementation of:
■ Biomass energy systems using wood chips, municipal and agricultural farm wastes, methane and natural gas
■ Hydrogen gas production, storage and transportation systems
■ Fuel cell-based stationary CHP products using pure hydrogen
■ Small geothermal power plants using hot spring resources and binary cycles
