5.1 Introduction to Multimedia
Multimedia refers to the combination of text, images, audio, and video to create interactive and engaging content.

5.2 Types of Multimedia
- Text: Written words used to convey information.
- Images: Still pictures used to convey information.
- Audio: Sound recordings used to convey information.
- Video: Moving images with sound used to convey information.
- Animation: A sequence of images displayed in rapid succession to create the illusion of movement.

5.3 Graphics Software
- Raster Graphics: Graphics made up of pixels, such as photographs.
- Vector Graphics: Graphics made up of lines and curves, such as logos and diagrams.
- Graphics Editors: Software used to create and edit graphics, such as Adobe Photoshop.

5.4 Audio and Video Editing
- Audio Editing: The process of editing and manipulating audio recordings.
- Video Editing: The process of editing and manipulating video recordings.
- Multimedia Authoring Tools: Software used to create interactive multimedia presentations, such as Adobe Flash.

5.5 Web Page Design
- HTML: HyperText Markup Language, used to create web pages.
- CSS: Cascading Style Sheets, used to control the layout and appearance of web pages.
- Web Page Design Software: Software used to create and design web pages, such as Adobe Dreamweaver.

5.6 Digital Citizenship
- Digital Etiquette: The rules of behavior for online interactions.
- Cyberbullying: The use of technology to harass or intimidate others.
- Online Safety: The practices and precautions taken to protect oneself and others online.
